With a background as a psychiatric nurse and training in mindfulness meditation and sophrology, she brings a holistic approach to her work. Shalissa brings with her to WCSS an education in Psychology and Sociology. She has a passion for helping and understanding people of all different ages, genders, and cultures. Kristy came to Whistler because of the mountains and a desire to snowboard as much as possible. She has stayed because of this amazing community. Inspired through years of working with children and youth in the sea to sky corridor she is currently finishing a bachelor’s degree in social work and is excited to be able to use this education as a means of offering inclusive and equitable support to all members of the community.
