Video meeting - Outreach Services

This will be a video appointment with a WCSS Outreach Worker. The Outreach Worker will contact you through Jane App video meetings. You will need to access this through the e-mail you received from Jane App. Please allow 5 minutes for the video to start and if you haven't received a video meeting request at this time, please call the WCSS main office at 604-932-0113.


Phone Call - Outreach Services

This will be a phone appointment with a WCSS Outreach Worker. The Outreach Worker will call you at the phone number provided on your file at the scheduled meeting time. Please allow 5 minutes for the call and if you haven't received a phone call, please call the WCSS main office at 604-932-0113.

Tom is a passionate advocate for community outreach and support who recently joined Whistler Community Services. With a background in leadership and hospitality, and as a mental health first aider, Tom has both witnessed and experienced firsthand the diverse needs and challenges faced by individuals in the community. Tom’s dedication to helping others and promoting a healthy lifestyle drives him to empower individuals on their unique journeys toward well-being. He firmly believes in extending a helping hand to create a stronger and more vibrant community where everyone can thrive. At Whistler Community Services, Tom is excited to share his passion for mental and physical well-being alongside an unwavering commitment to contribute to the betterment of the community he is proud to call home.

Originally from France, Marie traveled across Canada and arrived in Whistler in 2019. She fell in love with the surrounding nature and decided to settle in our beautiful community. With a background as a psychiatric nurse and training in mindfulness meditation and sophrology, she brings a holistic approach to her work. Passionate about psychology and social work, she is dedicated to making a positive impact to help our community thrive. She believes that by truly listening to others, we can create a safe space to express thought, emotions and needs. During her time off, she loves to spend time in nature, snowboarding, hiking, paddling or doing creative activities like drawing, painting or journaling.

Originally from Ontario, Shalissa has called Whistler home since 2014, an avid snowboarder in the winter and lake jumper in the summer! Shalissa brings with her to WCSS an education in Psychology and Sociology. She has a passion for helping and understanding people of all different ages, genders, and cultures. After volunteering at the Foodbank, Shalissa was eager to begin a rewarding career in Outreach and is new to WCSS as of November 2022. She is looking forward to interacting with the amazing people in our community, and fostering a healthy and happy lifestyle through encouragement and support
